The Municipality of South Bruce owns the Culross and Teeswater Cemetery located west of Bruce Road 4 (London Road) at 1800 Concession 4, Teeswater, in the Municipality of South Bruce. View our Cemetery Operating By-law to learn more about the operation and maintenance of the cemetery.

Hours

You can visit the cemetery to pay your respects to a loved one at any time during daylight hours.

Burial hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you’d like to request a burial after 4 p.m. or on Saturday, Sunday or a statutory holiday, you need to make special arrangements.

Plots, Niches and Burials

Please contact the Culross and Teeswater Cemetery Board Secretary, Paula Culbert, by email, pculbert@southbruce.ca for Cemetery information including information about purchasing full burial lots, cremation lots, and columbarium niches. If you do not have access to email, please contact the Municipal Office at 519-392-6623 and we will ensure the Secretary receives the message.

Columbarium

The Culross and Teeswater Cemetery Board is pleased to announce the opening of the Columbarium (2025). 

Decoration Day Service

The Culross and Teeswater Memorial Service, known as "Decoration Day", is held annually on the last Sunday in June*, at the Cemetery, located at 1800 Concession 4, Teeswater, Ontario, weather permitting. The service is to commemorate all who have been interred in the Cemetery.

The 2025 Culross and Teeswater Cemetery Decoration Day Service and Dedication of the Columbarium was held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. 

*Note: During the years when a major community gathering such as the homecoming reunion is held, the service will be held in conjunction with the community events.
