The Municipality of South Bruce is committed to offering safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate camp programs for children ages 4-12. Every recreational camp has its own theme and are offered during school breaks. There are three different age groups of camps for your children to enjoy.
Mini Makers- Ages 4-12
Mini Explorers- Ages 4-7
Explorers - Ages 8-12
Each camp is designed with the respective age in mind, ensuring that activities are age appropriate, fun, and challenging.
We offer camp programming over the following breaks:
Drop off for Camps (PA Day, Winter Break, March Break and Summer Camp) is between 8:00-9:00AM, and pick up is between 5:00-5:30PM. More information about camp fees, activities, and how to register can be found below!

Winter Break Camp |
Winter Break Camp is scheduled for Thursday January 2nd and Friday January 3rd at the Teeswater Culross Community Centre! Daily registration is available for Winter Break Camp.

Summer Camp |
Make memories this summer at Summer Camp! The Municipality of South Bruce is excited to offer 8 weeks of fun this summer at camp! Each camp has it's own theme and special activities/trips. Campers will be involved in weekly library visits, swimming three times a week, off site trips and exploring their community! Please note that activities/trips are subject to change or to cancellations as they are dependent on registrations. How to Register for Summer Camp |
Registration for Summer Camp is on a first come, first serve basis. To secure your spot, ensure that all forms are completed in full prior to registering.
Please complete the Camper Information Form, Anaphylaxis Care Plan (if applicable), and the applicable weekly registration forms. Forms can be submitted to the Recreation Programmer via email or dropped off at the Municipal Administration Office (21 Gordon St. E, Teeswater ON).
Please ensure to review the Recreation Refund Policy prior to Registration Night. |

If you choose to use the Camp Payment Policy, this confirms your spot in program. If you choose to withdraw from the program, the Recreation Refund Policy must be adhered to.
Cancellations/Refunds Any cancellations/refunds will be processed according to the Recreation Refund Policy. If you are choosing to use the Camp Payment Policy, you are committing to paying for and attending the camps that were registered for. |
Counsellor in Training Program |
The Municipality of South Bruce is excited to launch the Counsellor in Training Program! The Counsellor in Training program is open to students ages 13 + who have experience or looking to gain experience working with children in a camp setting through volunteering.
Volunteer hours can be used toward the 40 hours needed to earn your high school diploma!
Counsellors in Training must attend one of the two training dates and commit to at least one full week of camp to qualify for the program.

How do I register for PA Day Camp? |
1. Complete a registration form

2. Complete payment Please do not complete payment until you have received confirmation of availability for requested camp days. Payment can be made in on of the following ways:

E-transfer If you prefer to may payment via e-transfer, please email or call the office 519-392-6623 ext 249.
Please note that an expression of interest or a completed registration form does not guarantee camp registration. Camp spots cannot be held without payment. Official confirmation will be sent once payment has been made. Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis.

Will I be able to get a refund? |
All program cancellation requests must be received in writing, using the Recreation
All Refund Request forms must be submitted to the Recreation Programmer or at the Municipal Administration Office.

Will my child be participating in offsite activities? |
Absolutely! Depending on the day and activity plans campers may walk to local offsite activities such as the parks, pool, arenas, libraries etc. Offsite activities where campers must travel by bus are possible too! All out of town activities will be communicated with parents in advance and permission forms must be completed. |
Can I get fee assistance for the cost of camp? |
Program subsidy may be available by contacting the Bruce County Human Services Department at 519-881-0431. |
What should my child bring to camp? |
Each camp day, campers should bring the following items:

What should my child wear at camp? |
Campers should dress comfortably for play. T-shirts and athletic pants are recommended and encouraged. We highly recommend that campers refrain from wearing dresses or skirts to camp. Campers will be going outside everyday. Campers must wear secure closed toe and closed heel footwear. Sandals, winter boots, wedges, or any other open toed shoes are not permitted.
Campers not dressed according to the camp dress code will not be permitted into camp until their attire is in alignment with the camp dress code. |
What time is drop off? |
Drop off is from 8:00AM-9:00AM at your respective facility, unless specified otherwise. Please arrive to camp by 9:00AM. |
What time is pick up? |
Pick up begins at 5:00pm at your respective facility, unless specified otherwise. Have your photo I.D. ready, as all adults even parents must show photo ID each time, they pick up a child. This is for the safety of the child. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring the safety of the children entrusted in our care. If you need to pick up your child before 5:00pm, please call the program phone to notify staff.
There will be a fee of $1.00/minute charged for children picked up after 5:30pm. Frequent late pick-ups will result in removal from the current and all future camps. |
