Planning to Burn?
You need to ensure that you are registered with a burn permit and call us every time.
Request to Burn
You need to contact us before any controlled open-air burn. If you plan on burning on the weekend, you must call us before 4:00 p.m. on the Friday.
It is important for you to call us so we can notify the fire department and avoid unnecessary dispatch of our firefighters. This will also save you from paying an invoice for this service.
Fees
There will be a one-time $35 fee to register your property for a burn permit.
Every burn request will cost $15. This fee provides you with 14 consecutive days of open air burning on your property.
Demolition piles require an inspection and approval first before you can burn. A $205 inspection fee will apply.
