Notice of Fee for Disposal of Agricultural Plastics

Due to changes in the recycling program, the Municipality is now being charged a fee to divert this material. In order to offset this cost we are implementing this fee.

Agricultural plastics are difficult to deal with at the landfill, as they do not break down, wrap around equipment causing breakdowns and can contribute to potential leachate issues. It is important to recycle these materials to extend the life of our landfill site.
