Open-Air & Agricultural Burns Prohibited
Due to poor air quality and reduced visibility caused by wildfire smoke from northwestern Ontario, all open-air and agricultural burns are prohibited until further notice.
Current conditions increase the risk of additional smoke impacts and make it difficult to safely manage outdoor burning activities.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and ask residents to refrain from any open-air or agricultural burning until the restriction is lifted. Updates will be provided as conditions change.
