Effective immediately, Bruce County Fire Chiefs have declared a total fire ban on all open-air burning, including campfires. This ban is in effect as of June 8, 2023, and will remain in effect until such time that it has been declared safe.

As of April 17, 2023 the open fire burn ban has been lifted. With the rain last night and the lower temps and the fire index now at Low Risk and therefore the burn ban is lifted as of this morning.
