SOUTH BRUCE, ON – The Municipality of South Bruce Council endorsed the Hosting Agreement between the Municipality and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) at its meeting May 1, 2024. Mayor Mark Goetz and CAO Leanne Martin signed the agreement on behalf of the Municipality following the vote on Wednesday evening.

SOUTH BRUCE, ON – South Bruce Council will consider a Hosting Agreement between the Municipality of South Bruce and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) at a special meeting on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
This Hosting Agreement maps out what happens if South Bruce decides it is a willing host and selected for the NWMO Project to safely store Canada’s used nuclear fuel. It also sets out how South Bruce would exit the process if it is not a willing host or it is not selected by the NWMO.

SOUTH BRUCE, ON – The Municipality of South Bruce Council passed a by-law confirming the date and question for the 2024 by-election.
