Council Receives Sixth Amendment to the Multi-Year Funding Agreement

SOUTH BRUCE, ON – At its meeting on December 12, 2023, South Bruce Council passed a motion approving an amendment to the Multi-Year Funding Agreement (MYFA) with the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO).

The MYFA was initially approved by Council in June 2020 in By-Law #2020-53. Since then, the agreement has been updated multiple times. This is the sixth amendment to the MYFA which will incorporate the work plan and budget for 2024.

Formosa Country Christmas is an annual demonstration of dazzling displays and decorations in the hamlet organized by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Falconer Bridge Completed

The Municipality of South Bruce invested $711,065 to replace the Falconer Bridge on Concession 2, Culross.  The original Structure was a Cast-in-Place Concrete rigid frame that was built in 1940.  It has been replaced with a Precast Concrete Barefoot Box Culvert Structure.
